SCHUNK, a global leader in clamping, gripping, and automation technology, faced a slow and inefficient process for capturing leads at major trade fairs. Their manual method of hand-writing forms, scanning them, and manually inputting data into SAP Sales Cloud resulted in a 10-day delay before leads could be contacted, along with poor data quality. To address this challenge as part of their digitalization strategy, SCHUNK partnered with snapADDY to implement its VisitReport application.

snapADDY provided a digital solution for capturing leads through an app that integrated directly with SCHUNK’s SAP Sales Cloud CRM. This allowed booth staff to capture contact information digitally, attach pictures, and access existing customer data on the spot. The implementation was highly successful, reducing lead processing time from 10 days to just 2 minutes. At the automatica trade fair, snapADDY enabled the digital capture of 2,200 leads with high data quality and received a 4.49 out of 5 star satisfaction rating from the internal team.
