The Children’s Commissioner for Wales faced the challenge of ensuring children's voices were heard during the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with their UN rights. They needed to quickly gather and analyze feedback from thousands of children to inform government decisions. Snap Surveys designed and deployed a large-scale, bilingual online survey. Their team managed data collection, coded thousands of open-ended responses, and utilized their Smart Reports feature to generate dynamic, filterable reports. The solution gathered over 42,500 responses across two survey rounds. The results provided vital, measurable data to the Welsh Government and local authorities, directly influencing policy decisions, such as keeping parks open during lockdowns, and received significant national news coverage.
