CDER Group manages up to 5,000 weekly COVID spot checks with Snap Surveys

CDER Group, a UK-based provider of enforcement and debt recovery services for government clients, was tasked by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to conduct COVID Secure Spot Checks on businesses across the UK. Their challenge was to find a robust method for their field teams to perform these checks consistently, accurately capture the data, and securely report it back to the HSE, all within a very tight initial timeframe. They turned to vendor Snap Surveys and its Snap Offline Interviewer app for a solution.

Snap Surveys implemented its offline data capture solution, which allowed CDER's officers to perform thousands of inspections weekly without an internet connection. The solution featured UK-based servers for data security and was adaptable as government guidelines changed. The project was a huge success, providing the HSE with a robust process for minimizing COVID transmission risks in workplaces. CDER Group successfully processes up to 5,000 spot checks per week, and the partnership with Snap Surveys continues under a formal HSE contract.
