Evy’s Tree, a direct-to-consumer hoodie label focused on creating a community around its brand, needed a simple, on-brand way to increase customer engagement and repeat purchases. They partnered with Smile.io to build Who’s Hoo Rewards & Referrals, a points-based loyalty and referral program that could be easily implemented and promoted across their site and email.
Using Smile.io, Evy’s Tree launched a rewards program that awards points for signups, purchases, referrals and social actions, and promotes clear, easy redemption options. After two and a half years with Smile.io they achieved a 58% increase in repeat customer rate (2016–2018), a 65% redemption rate versus a 20% industry average, saved $1,032 per month in ad spend from referrals, and recorded an 83x return on investment over three years.
