The MacaTeam, LLC, a family-run specialist in organic Peruvian maca, faced the challenge of increasing customer loyalty and repeat purchases. They partnered with Smile.io to deploy a loyalty rewards program and integrate the rewards app with their Bigcommerce store to make the program discoverable and easy to use.
Smile.io implemented a branded rewards experience—welcome points, instant redemptions, a site-wide rewards tab, and multiple ways to earn points (orders, social shares, referrals). In three months the program drove roughly $300K in reward-member revenue, $130K in repeat-purchase revenue, 3,883 new reward members, and a 31% repeat purchase rate, adding more than 1,000 members per month and significantly boosting customer lifetime value.
