QVC, the retail TV and e-commerce retailer, wanted to modernise its shopping experience and better engage viewers by making TV-style video content directly shoppable. To do this QVC partnered with Smartzer and used Smartzer’s interactive video platform to test a new click-to-buy video format for its "Weekend Style" content.
Smartzer tagged the video to create a shoppable pop-up containing all items in each look so customers could order products—or the entire outfit—directly from the video. The Smartzer implementation put live product links on QVC’s Fashion section, streamlining the path to purchase and making the shopping experience quicker and easier while improving on-site engagement.
