Tapping into the power (and taming the challenge) of construction photos

Stiles, a division of Stiles Corporation and a full-service development and construction firm in South Florida, was struggling with scattered photo and video content across projects and corporate teams. Media was hard to find, approval processes for marketing and owner communications didn’t exist, and time was wasted answering content requests — so Stiles adopted the Smartvid.io platform via its integration with Procore to address these challenges.

Smartvid.io aggregated all project photos and videos (from Procore and other devices), applied machine-learning image and speech recognition to generate searchable "SmartTags," and pushed those tags back into Procore so teams could find and approve media without new field processes. The Smartvid.io solution centralized content, sped searches and approvals, prompted staff to capture more documentation, improved safety infraction detection and compliance, and materially reduced risk and time spent retrieving imagery.
