APS ProLab gets photographers excited with their new custom backend

APS Pro Lab, a New York–based professional photo lab serving photographers and studios, came to SmartSites after their previous developer encrypted and removed critical site files and left the platform vulnerable to repeated malicious activity. They needed a rebuilt, secure custom platform with ecommerce capabilities, an easy-to-edit graphic slider, browser-based album uploading, payment processing, and ongoing maintenance.

SmartSites redeveloped APS Pro Lab’s custom CMS, hardened PHP against injection attacks, integrated Authorize.net for payments, built a responsive redesign with a dynamic editable slider and a browser-based album uploader, and now provides ongoing support. As a result, SmartSites eliminated the security vulnerabilities and recurring malicious activity, restored full site functionality, and delivered an improved, maintainable user experience that streamlines uploads and ordering for photographers.
