Sonnedix is an independent power producer that designs, finances, builds, and operates solar plants worldwide. With offices and sites dispersed across countries, the company faced the sudden challenge of maintaining its “one team” culture and supporting employees during the rapid shift to remote and hybrid working caused by COVID-19.

Sonnedix rolled out Smartsheet as a central platform for global collaboration—building an HR training portal, office booking and QR check-in systems, dashboards (including live travel data), and a home-office assessment workflow. The tools dramatically increased training delivery (more than 90 sessions and 1,000+ hours over six months), improved visibility and efficiency for equipment and safety tracking, and helped safely reopen offices while enabling contact tracing and ongoing support for employees.
