LU-VE, a European manufacturer of air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, needed a better way to collect employee ideas and manage projects across more than 3,500 people in multiple regions. After acquiring Alfa Laval’s air heat exchanger division, the company also faced the challenge of unifying different workflows, languages, and project structures. Smartsheet implemented a standardized, centralized project management workflow with templates, Gantt charts, category managers, and automated project setup so managers could launch projects in one click. The solution improved visibility into progress and budgets, streamlined collaboration, and made it easier for employees to share ideas and track work online. LU-VE reported stronger cross-team coordination, faster reporting, and growing adoption of Smartsheet across the company.
