Getty Images and Its Customers Leverage Brandfolder's DAM to Organize and Distribute Millions of Digital Assets

Getty Images, founded in 1995 and home to hundreds of millions of visual assets with over 750,000 annual customers, needed a scalable way to help organizations discover, organize and distribute Getty-licensed content alongside their own digital assets. With contributions from hundreds of thousands of creators and global assignment workflows, customers required a secure, efficient DAM that fit into existing creative workflows and supported large-scale collaboration.

In August 2019 Getty Images launched Getty Images Media Manager Powered by Brandfolder, a DAM built on Brandfolder’s platform that auto-ingests licensed content and metadata, supports AI tagging, templates, workflow tools and integrations (Adobe CC, Box, Dropbox, Google Drive) and offers FTP, content automation and share links. The result: customers can centrally manage, share and measure millions of assets in real time, streamline global assignment delivery, and more easily track and collaborate across teams while Getty Images delivers faster, higher-value service at scale.
