Gencon Adopts a Platform That Matches Its Ambition

GenCon is a midsize construction contractor that has grown from small healthcare jobs to complex remodels and diversified into corporate and hospitality work. As it scaled, the company faced fragmented systems, version-control problems, and collaboration breakdowns—particularly around owner invoicing, project tracking, and accessing up-to-date documentation—which threatened efficiency and its growth plans.

GenCon adopted Smartsheet as a single work-execution platform that integrates data from Procore and CMiC (via Data Uploader), uses DataMesh to align sister-company projects, and centralizes a master project database and executive dashboards.
