The Salvation Army - Customer Case Study

The Salvation Army, an international Christian movement in New Zealand, needed to keep operating costs low and ensure every dollar was spent wisely. To help manage its fleet more efficiently, Smartrak provided an online GPS tracking solution for its Family Store trucks.

In April 2012, Smartrak installed GPS devices in five trucks across the Midland Division, giving management better visibility of vehicle use through internet and mobile applications. The result was improved fleet efficiency, easier monitoring of pickups and deliveries, and reduced unnecessary travel, with staff praising Smartrak for making the system easy to understand and use.
