Select Solutions, operating across remote and often flood-prone areas of Queensland, needed a way to keep track of field staff working over 630,000 square kilometres, much of it without mobile reception. Smartrak provided GPS and satellite-enabled fleet monitoring, geofencing, GIS map overlays, overspeed reporting, and emergency response support, helping Select Solutions direct staff, flag when they moved outside cellular coverage, and respond quickly to incidents. The solution improved driver safety, fatigue management, and emergency coordination, while giving Shelley Poor a reliable, user-friendly way to monitor staff and assist them across 25 vehicles in the field.
