A smartQ Case Study
Print New Hampshire, a 19-person graphic and signs printing company in Manchester, NH and a Certified USG and 3M Certified Graphics Installation Company, faced the challenge of tracking complex large-format sign jobs that move through several printers and 5–7 days of finishing stages. To manage frequent customer status inquiries and coordinate multiple production steps, Print New Hampshire has used smartQ since January 2014 to organize jobs from layout through printing, cutting, finishing, and shipping.
smartQ was implemented as the shop’s production board with Excel spreadsheet uploads for batch job entry, due-date sorting to keep priorities visible, and Notes at each stage to record who printed, cut, packed, and shipped items. As a result, front-office staff can quickly search a job and know exactly where it is and when it will be completed, priority work stays at the top of each column, and production visibility and team communication have significantly improved — with other departments already asking to adopt smartQ themselves.
