Cornerstone IT Consulting, a four-person computer consulting firm in Jackson, Tennessee, uses smartQ as their dispatch board for every project. Facing the need to organize extensive notes and documentation, coordinate multiple technicians on network, hardware and software jobs, and accurately track labor and inventory for billing, Cornerstone adopted smartQ (customer since June 2012) to create and manage tickets for each incoming job.

smartQ’s dispatch board—with color categories, left-to-right workflows, tags, drag-and-drop UI, ticket notes and email notifications—lets Cornerstone track labor and inventory per job, copy ticket details into QuickBooks invoices, and archive completed tickets. As a result, Cornerstone reports clearer organization and easier collaboration across projects; the office manager keeps smartQ open on a monitor for real-time workflow management while the owner monitors progress via the iPhone app, making billing and job tracking more efficient.
