Rossignol, the mountain sports brand, needed a better way to build direct customer relationships and collect qualified contact data because its products were sold indirectly. To solve this, Rossignol used the SmartFocus marketing platform and its email marketing retention program to support the Demo Tour, an initiative designed to drive product testing, gather customer interests, and increase engagement through email.
SmartFocus implemented highly personalized, multilingual automated campaigns with dynamic content before, during, and after the Demo Tour, including tailored follow-ups and event photos. The results were strong: Rossignol gained 53,000 new qualified email addresses, doubled its contact database in the first year, and achieved an open rate of over 50%, while also improving customer insights and loyalty.
