Peak Performance, Scandinavia’s largest sportswear label, wanted to move beyond traditional marketing and spreadsheet-based customer data to build a digital customer strategy and ecommerce presence. Working with SmartFocus, the company needed a better way to engage loyal customers, reduce manual data handling, and drive more online sales through email marketing and product recommendations.
SmartFocus implemented a central customer database, the Smart Email platform, and the Smart Personalization Web recommendation engine. The result was stronger engagement and revenue impact, including a 33% increase in click-through rate, a 7% decrease in website bounce rate, a 50% increase in average order value, and 7% of all 2014 sales generated by recommendations.
