Transdev implemented the SmartDrive video-based safety program, which combines continuous on-board video with expert reviewers who score and prioritize incidents for targeted coaching, while also capturing positive driving behaviors. The result: clearer coaching, stronger driver buy-in, and major safety and financial gains — including a 50% reduction in collisions within six months, a $5 million drop in claims costs, and significant reductions in unsafe following (79%), seat belt violations (94%) and speeding (88%).
