CAFU is an on-demand fuel and EV charging company that launched its mobile EV charging service in Canada. To make its app more useful and efficient, CAFU needed a seamless way to prioritize charging requests based on a vehicle’s location, state of charge, and requested delivery time, without relying on manual data entry from customers. Smartcar provided the API solution used to connect with vehicles and access the data CAFU needed.

With Smartcar’s APIs, CAFU could automatically integrate with customers’ vehicles and receive real-time location and charging status information, helping streamline vehicle registration and booking. The result was a faster, more scalable service that let CAFU serve more drivers in less time and expand into new markets, while also improving the customer experience and reducing range anxiety.
