Municipal Web Service launches a responsive municipal portal with Smartbees in 600 hours

The Municipal Web Service for Gliwice City faced challenges with its outdated, non-responsive website, which provided a poor user experience on mobile devices and was built on an obsolete back-end. The city hired vendor Smartbees to develop a completely new, responsive website using Drupal to serve as a modern virtual showcase.

Smartbees implemented a responsive design, integrated new subservices for culture and tourism, and ensured the site complied with WCAG 2.0 standards. The project required approximately 600 hours of work from a team of five specialists. The results included a unified management panel for all websites, integration with the Public Information Bulletin, and a new portal that is accessible on any device.
