Smartbees developed a product configurator for Bergerat Monnoyeur, the authorized distributor of CAT® machines in Poland. The customer faced a challenge with a complicated and time-consuming machine selection process on their website, which often led to user dissatisfaction and the risk of configuring incompatible equipment.

The solution implemented by Smartbees was a dynamic, 4-step configurator built with Vue.js as a Single-Page Application on a Drupal 9 base. This streamlined the process, ensuring only compatible parts were selectable and providing leasing cost calculations. The results for Bergerat Monnoyeur included a maximally streamlined configuration process, a transparent and intuitive tool for users, and a simplified inquiry submission process. The project required 750 hours of work from a 4-person team.
