MyFairTrade, an online store for healthy food and nutritional supplements, wanted to create a health blog that would increase product sales by integrating items from their main e-commerce site into the blog's content and search results. Their challenge was to make the search autocomplete more informative by displaying both articles and relevant products. To address this, they partnered with vendor SmartApp, which utilized Algolia solutions for the project.

SmartApp designed and built the blog from scratch, integrating it with the online store to display products seamlessly within articles and search results. They improved the search functionality with an autocomplete feature that shows articles, categories, and products with images. The project, which took 350 hours to complete, successfully achieved the client's primary goal of increasing sales by placing products prominently across all pages of the new blog.
