A SMART Technologies Case Study
Southridge School, a university-directed K–12 independent school in Surrey, British Columbia serving about 680 students, needed more classroom flexibility and better visual tools to help students grasp abstract math concepts and keep up when extracurriculars caused frequent absences.
By deploying SMART Board interactive whiteboards and Notebook software—using templates, virtual algebra tiles, an on-screen TI-84 emulator and saved lesson PDFs—teachers made lessons more engaging and adaptive. The result: higher student confidence, improved participation and retention in math, and easier catch-up for absent students.
