A SMART Technologies Case Study
Woodcroft Primary School in South Australia faced the challenge of moving beyond passive, desk-bound lessons to create more collaborative, interactive classrooms that prepare students for a knowledge-based society. Leaders wanted greater teacher and student mobility, richer multimedia learning and more student-centered, collaborative activities.
The school implemented SMART Board interactive whiteboards paired with AirLiner wireless slates, giving teachers and students the freedom to annotate and present from anywhere in the room. The tools proved plug-and-play, boosted engagement and collaboration, enabled timid students to participate comfortably, and improved teacher responsiveness—resulting in more dynamic lessons and stronger preparation for a technology-driven future.
