SMART Board interactive whiteboards enable global and regional collaboration in Hong Kong

Pui Ching Middle School in Hong Kong, a tech-forward institution and early adopter of interactive whiteboards, needed to enable greater global collaboration and boost classroom participation—particularly for form 1 students. The school also wanted to extend learning beyond its walls through real-time connections with sister schools in Beijing and Singapore.

Pui Ching deployed 13 SMART Boards, a Sympodium pen display, Notebook and SMART Ideas software, plus Bridgit conferencing servers to support e-collaboration, lesson recording and interactive activities. The result was regular shared lessons with partner schools, easy lesson review and noticeably higher student engagement and active participation in class.
