Interactive Training Technology For MAN PrimeServ Academy

MAN Diesel & Turbo’s PrimeServ Academy in Augsburg, part of a global leader in large diesel engines and turbo machinery, needed a standardized, interactive training tool that could be used across its ten international centers and during internal meetings. Previously reliant on projectors, whiteboards and flipcharts, the Academy sought a solution to boost interactivity and modernize technical workshops for both customers and service staff.

Since 2007 the Academy has deployed SMART solutions—eleven SMART Board interactive whiteboards and eight SMART Podium pen displays—supporting more than 90 training sessions a year. The systems make presentations, videos and technical drawings fully interactive, integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Office, simplify trainer control and conferencing, and have delivered standardized, more engaging training and meetings with ongoing maintenance and support to ensure reliability.
