Conference center provides data conferencing suite for clients

Weetwood Hall Conference Centre and Hotel in Leeds, owned by the University of Leeds and the largest flexible conference venue in northern England, wanted more than basic video conferencing: they needed a seamless, easy-to-use, secure data-conferencing environment that let clients collaborate locally and globally without technical confusion or leaving behind data traces. The challenge was to offer powerful collaboration tools that guests could operate confidently during training, presentations and meetings.

Weetwood Hall implemented a SMART Board 600i with a UF55 short-throw projector, SMART Bridgit conferencing software and a SMART Hub SE collaboration appliance to enable computer-free digital whiteboarding, easy laptop or USB access, locked-down security and simultaneous remote annotation. The suite has been well received by clients, boosting meeting productivity and cost efficiency, enabling real-time global collaboration and keeping Weetwood Hall at the forefront of conference-room technology.
