A premier U.S. financial services firm with roughly $60 billion in assets and operations in more than 10 states faced fragmented procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, limited visibility into spending, weak audit/reporting capabilities, and a need to enforce global policies while integrating with a customized Oracle ERP across all locations.

The firm implemented GEP SMART as a unified source-to-pay platform, integrating requisition-to-pay and accounts payable with the Oracle ERP and configuring approvals, tax and reporting rules. The rollout gave >20,000 users access and enabled transactions with >40,000 suppliers, consolidated >15 catalogs and ~1,000 SKUs, and supported $650M in annual spend under a center-led, distributed procurement model.
