Winsupply, a leading wholesale distributor, aimed to scale its global operations by establishing a new Global Development Centre in India. Their challenge was to rapidly hire over 100 engineers and seamlessly integrate this new offshore team with their existing U.S.-based workflows and culture across multiple critical business domains. To meet this ambitious goal, they deepened their partnership with Smart Data for its offshore development services.

Smart Data implemented a full lifecycle delivery model to build, launch, and optimize the offshore center. They recruited and onboarded over 40 engineers, established the facility, and aligned processes through mentorship and SDLC workshops. The solution leveraged technologies including AS400, RPG, DB2, Java, Angular, and Selenium. As a result, Smart Data successfully established a fully operational offshore center for Winsupply within one year, hired 40+ engineers with plans to scale further, and expanded their role from staff augmentation to strategic partnership through process innovation and talent development.
