A Smarsh Case Study
Searcy Financial Services, an independent financial planning and investment firm in Overland Park, Kansas, needed a practical way to enforce its documented cybersecurity policy across company-issued computers and mobile devices. Vice President Jessica Maldonado sought real-time alerts for noncompliance and threats so issues could be corrected immediately, and after evaluating options the firm selected Entreda’s Unify platform.
Searcy deployed Unify on about a dozen PCs and Macs with plans to extend to mobile devices; the agent runs quietly in the background and uses autoremediation pop-ups to prompt users while providing administrators with detailed weekly reports and incident logs. Early rollout uncovered update and memory problems that were quickly resolved, the reporting has helped catch otherwise unnoticed glitches, and Maldonado says the solution and Entreda’s responsive support have saved the firm time and money.
