Family Dinning Restaurant partnered with Small Box Energy to reduce energy use and improve operational reliability across its 24/7 Southern Arizona location. The restaurant wanted to lower overall consumption, add food-safety temperature monitoring, and improve alarming, alerting, and equipment diagnostics to help prevent food loss and reduce maintenance costs.

Small Box Energy implemented its chameleon™ platform to monitor and control HVAC, walk-ins, lighting, refrigeration, and food-safety conditions through cloud and app-based tools. The project delivered an 18% total energy reduction, including 42% savings on walk-in energy, 27% on lighting, and 6% on HVAC, resulting in $2,040 in net annual savings and $14,206 in net contract savings.
