SoundCloud worked with Smadex to adapt its iOS mobile campaigns to SKAd Network, which had reduced user-level data and post-install visibility. The challenge was to re-learn campaign optimization without using the device ID while still meeting CPI goals.
Smadex used its Flexible Mapping tool to test and organize SKAd Network campaign variables more efficiently, helping SoundCloud identify the best-performing combinations faster and shorten the learning curve. On SoundCloud’s first SKAd Network test campaign with Smadex, the target CPI was reached in 7 days and performance came in at 50% of the target CPI, beating the CPI goal by 53%.
