Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), Singapore’s largest media organization, partnered with Smaato in 2014 to better monetize its mobile properties (Stomp, AsiaOne, LianHe Wanbao, Omy News, MyPaper). SPH’s challenge was finding a reliable APAC-focused monetization partner to scale and monetize its Chinese and English mobile sites and apps effectively.
SPH adopted Smaato’s mobile-first SPX ad server in 2015, gaining real-time auctioning, dynamic demand, inventory control, a dedicated Smaato sales team, and expanded ad formats. The result was higher eCPMs and brand-safe, premium ads, creating an incremental mobile revenue channel and positioning SPH as one of Smaato’s top publishers with ongoing growth.
