A SMA Technologies Case Study
Jack Henry & Associates (JHA) faced a significant challenge as its goal to grow revenue four times and clients six times over a decade was impeded by inefficient manual processes. With over a million daily manual keystrokes and an unacceptable 24-hour disaster recovery time objective (RTO), JHA required a digital transformation. They turned to vendor SMA Technologies and its OpCon workload automation solution to help them scale and overcome these obstacles.
SMA Technologies worked with JHA to automate its workflows, integrating OpCon with all third-party processes and major recovery steps. The results were substantial, enabling JHA to grow from 50 data center clients and 7 servers to over 300 clients and 300 servers while adding only one IT staff member. Furthermore, SMA Technologies' solution slashed their published RTO by 83% to just four hours, saving over 300 man-hours per incident and providing the flexibility to serve clients of vastly different sizes on the same automated system.
