Spice Nights, an Indian takeaway, wanted to avoid paying commissions on online sales processed through third-party services and regain control of their customer data. Their challenge was to build a new website that could reliably and automatically process orders during busy periods, requiring a seamless print and order management system. This prompted them to partner with Slynk Digital.

Slynk Digital implemented a solution using an Android thermal receipt printer from PrinterCo, which connected via a failover internet connection. This system automatically printed orders and allowed Spice Nights to accept or reject them and set collection times directly from the printer. The new website was immediately successful, saving Spice Nights a significant amount of money by eliminating the commissions they had previously paid.
