Frattallone’s, a 21-store Ace Hardware & Garden Center chain in the Twin Cities, needed a streamlined way to deliver time-sensitive messages — notifying customers when orders or repairs were ready and quickly identifying employees available for extra shifts — without time-consuming phone calls. They engaged Slooce Technology to provide SMS-based tools, including 2-Way Text Messaging over a short code, a flexible 2-way API, and an SMS messaging web interface.

Slooce Technology integrated its API and web interface with Frattallone’s systems to send real-time pickup notices and occasional promotions to customers and to poll employees for shift availability. The solution cut down phone calls, saved hours of back-and-forth, enabled fair first-respond/first-assigned shift fills across all 21 stores, and increased customer satisfaction while preserving Frattallone’s people-first service model.
