Venture Lighting, a pioneering lighting manufacturer and distributor with over 30 years in the industry, faced increasing assortment complexity, shortening product life cycles and strong seasonal demand (up to 30% peaks). Slimstock’s Slim4—using BOM functionality, forecasting and a management-by-exception approach—was rolled out in months to help phase in new items, supersede demand between predecessors and manage obsolescence.
