The Kramp Group, a European leader with three business units (Kramp Agri, Kramp Industry and Kramp Forest & Grasscare), €220 million turnover, about 1,000 employees and 30,000 m2 of warehousing, faced challenges with seasonal and irregular demand that its ERP (IMI) inventory module could not handle. To address poor stock balance and service issues, The Kramp Group selected Slimstock’s Slim4 inventory management solution.

Slimstock implemented Slim4 to provide demand prediction logic, automated calculations and exception-focused workflows, enabling 30 planners across the UK, Germany and the Netherlands to manage 300,000 stock items more efficiently. As a result of Slimstock’s solution Kramp reduced inventory, improved communication between Sales and Purchasing, raised service level from 93% to over 96% and achieved a 30% higher turnover rate.
