Technetix, a fast‑growing broadband technology leader based in Burgess Hill, needed to improve forecasting and inventory planning after adopting the Exact ERP—its planners were spending too much time hunting through spreadsheets and the business wanted to maintain service levels while cutting stock. Technetix engaged Slimstock and its Slim4 forecasting and inventory‑management solution to add the exception‑management and planning functionality missing from their ERP.

Slimstock implemented Slim4 (integrated with Exact) from September to end‑November 2009, supporting planners in both Burgess Hill and Veenendaal and streamlining S&OP to support US expansion. As a result Slimstock helped Technetix reduce stock by £1.5m across 2010 and improve planning efficiency by over 20%, while keeping day‑to‑day operations uninterrupted.
