Strong Supply Chain Provides Basis for Growth For Wildkamp

Wildkamp, a technical wholesaler with 45 locations in the Netherlands and a range grown to 60,000 SKUs, prioritizes high customer service but faced rising obsolescent inventory, seasonal and assortment changes, misallocated stock and difficulty phasing items in and out. To achieve structural inventory optimisation they supplemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV with Slim4.

By implementing Slim4 Wildkamp set the foundations for integral inventory management in three months, centralised replenishment across all 45 locations and improved planners’ forecasting. The results: service levels increased from 96% to more than 98.5%, stock value dropped by no less than 15%, fewer urgent orders and direct cost savings, and a potential further inventory reduction of another 2 to 3 million Euros by rolling Slim4 out to all stores.
