Sonepar Italia Enhances Customer Experience Through Collaboration with Slimstock

Sonepar Italia, part of the Sonepar Group, needed to improve demand planning, assortment management, and replenishment to boost product availability and customer service across its 170 branches in Italy. To support its supply chain transformation and align with group standards, Sonepar Italia adopted Slimstock’s Supply Chain Planning platform, Slim4.

Slimstock implemented advanced forecasting and exception management capabilities to optimise end-to-end planning and centralise operations at the Padua logistics hub. As a result, Sonepar Italia achieved greater supply chain agility, improved operational efficiency, stronger alignment with the Sonepar Group, better forecast accuracy, and fewer stockouts and excess inventory, while also creating a model that helped Sonepar Germany go live in just 13 weeks.
