Bamigo, an exclusive bamboo clothing brand selling direct-to-consumer via its webshop across 16 countries, faced the challenge of tightly phasing seasonal collections while keeping availability high and end-of-season overstock low. To solve complex forecasting and ordering for new colours and sizes, Bamigo selected slimstock’s inventory optimisation software Slim4 to improve planning, visibility and supplier coordination.
slimstock implemented Slim4 to link new items to comparable articles, generate initial forecasts, auto-adjust orders based on real demand, flag cannibalisation and exception items, and enable manual intervention when needed. As a result, Bamigo saw out-of-stocks fall by 10%, excess end-of-season stock drop to almost zero, operational time savings of over 20%, and up to a two-week reduction in some supplier lead times.
