Schrauwen Reduce Their Stock Value and Increases Service as Assortment Continues to Grow

Schrauwen, a technical wholesaler in the CRH Group with 13 branches, needed to control rising inventory costs and maintain service as it rapidly expanded—doubling stores, growing assortment from about 6,000 to over 8,000 SKUs and more than doubling turnover. To address this, Schrauwen engaged Slimstock and deployed its inventory-optimisation solution, Slim4.

Slimstock implemented Slim4 (including its order generator) to improve forecasting, exception management and replenishment processes. As a result, Schrauwen reduced inventory value by 25%, increased service level from 95% to over 98%, and achieved considerable efficiency improvements across the ordering and store replenishment processes; Slimstock continues to support further optimisation and training to sustain these gains.
