Pabo optimises inventory for online retailing

Pabo, part of the Beate Uhse group, operates a large e-commerce and catalogue business selling lingerie, clothing and erotic lifestyle products with over 15,000 SKUs and long (2–3 month) lead times. Faced with unreliable forecasting from Microsoft Dynamics NAV and increasing online demand, Pabo engaged Slimstock to deploy its inventory optimisation solution, Slim4, to gain better control of inventory and improve service levels.

Slimstock implemented Slim4 with integrated forecasting across the supply chain (including sister company Scala), enabling proactive exception management and more accurate replenishment. As a result, availability rose from 85% to over 95% (an 8% increase in the distribution centre and exceeding the original target by 5% within six months), partial deliveries were halved, and customer satisfaction and service levels improved—benefits Slimstock will extend across physical stores.
