Lecot Raedschelders Grow with Substantially less stock

Lecot Raedschelders faced the challenge of aligning product ranges and optimising inventory across merged distribution centres after their 2009 merger, aiming to improve availability while lowering stock levels. To address this, the Belgian market leader turned to Slimstock and implemented its inventory optimisation system, Slim4.

Slimstock deployed Slim4 to centralise forecasting and stock management, enabling focused DC assortments and smarter replenishment. The result: turnover rose 17% while stock in the two DCs fell 20% (about €3m less inventory), availability improved by 1% across the range, and further targets include a projected 15% reduction in store stock (over €2m) and continued network expansion.
