Izico Food Group faced rapid growth through acquisitions—now operating eight factories, supplying over 900 SKUs—and needed to centralise planning and gain visibility into seasonal and promotional demand to reduce excess inventory and working capital. To achieve this, Izico partnered with Slimstock and deployed the Slim4 demand- and supply-planning solution to support consensus forecasting and promotion-aware planning.
Slimstock implemented Slim4 across Izico’s stock-controlled range and supply planning, separating base and promotional demand, generating optimal supplier orders (full pallets/trucks) and providing granular seasonal insights. As a result, Izico tightened stock levels, drastically reduced the working capital tied up in inventory and improved service levels, with further gains expected as Slimstock helps centralise production planning.
