Hoogvliet gets a grip on availability and stock reduction

Hoogvliet, a leading supermarket chain in the Netherlands, needed better control over the balance between shelf availability and stock reduction across its 77 stores and central distribution centre. The retailer turned to Slimstock’s Slim4 software, along with a shop replenishment and stock-counting solution, to improve visibility, reduce waste, and support more accurate ordering.

Slimstock implemented centralized shop replenishment and integrated it with store operations, while also supporting Hoogvliet’s move to a new distribution centre. The results were strong: shelf availability increased by 2 percentage points, stock levels fell by 5%, and the company gained centralized stock control and better weekly distribution of logistics volumes.
