Hendi Optimises inventory across their multi-site operation

HENDI, a European supplier of professional kitchen equipment with subsidiaries across multiple countries, was experiencing rapid growth and had lost visibility of inventory across its sites, leading to frequent internal transfers and significant overstock. To regain control of its supply chain, HENDI turned to slimstock and implemented the Slim4 solution.

slimstock used Slim4’s Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) to set optimal stocking levels and order quantities per branch, consolidate production orders from China to fill containers, and rationalise HENDI’s range and lifecycle planning. As a result, HENDI’s service level rose from 94% to over 97%, shipping and transport costs were substantially reduced through order consolidation, and the company gained a tighter grip on seasonal items.
