Goodlife Foods increases service levels while reducing stock with Slimstock’s support

Goodlife Foods, a Netherlands-based wholesale food company, produces around 4 million snacks a day and needed better visibility into demand, promotions, and seasonal effects to improve supply chain planning. The company turned to Slimstock and its demand planning and inventory management software to support S&OP across its factories and distribution centres.

With Slimstock’s solution, Goodlife Foods improved demand planning per factory, calculated stock buffers more accurately, and used exception-based planning to respond faster to issues. The results included a 9% reduction in surpluses, excess stock in distribution centres falling from 10% to 1%, and service levels rising to 98% for A-items, giving Goodlife Foods better control and more reliable deliveries.
